March & April, 2013
The Work-life Round Table is a group of sixteen individuals working together to assure that our work-life at W&L is the best it can be. Members are chosen to bring diverse perspective and expertise to this endeavor.
The group will work to understand the various programs and benefits that W&L has to offer and to encourage practices that take advantage of these opportunities. This program will also identify and promote department practices that enhance job satisfaction.
Round Table participants will be presented with a broad spectrum of background information. The group will generate and discuss many ideas affecting work-life at the University and within University Facilities. Some of these ideas will develop into plans that we'll implement in the department. Other ideas affecting broader University life may be forwarded to the Administration in the form of recommendations.
Meetings are scheduled in March and April of 2013. The summary objective is to assure that we're all doing everything possible in promoting a high-quality of work-life at Washington and Lee.
