The W&L Annual Fund Phonathon employs undergraduate and law student callers who reach out to W&L alumni and parents throughout the school year. Phonathon callers are trained to carry out 3 main functions:
- Engage alumni and parent prospects with the University by sharing updates and building goodwill towards W&L.
- Update contact information (addresses, phone numbers, business information, e-mails, etc.
- Ask for financial support to the Annual Fund
Through this opportunity, student callers gain valuable work experience, including marketing, public relations, negotiation, and phone skills, which will help them throughout their lives and future careers. As callers, students interact with people of all backgrounds and interests as they are the connection for donors and prospective donors to W&L.
