Also Known As: TC
W&L Highlight: Rope swinging into the Maury River with great friends. If only warring factions could get together and do a little rope swinging into the Maury, we'd live in a much more peaceful world.
Most Memorable Class: Journalism Law...it was the first time that the significance and impact of communications really clicked for me. Not a month goes by where I don't reference something I learned in that course. I can still hear Professor Jennings' screams of "RRRRRRRRhenquist!"
Current Job: Communications Director, Eurasia and Africa Group, The Coca-Cola Company
Current Life: Is very good. While I spend more time on a plane than the average bear for work, my free time is spent exploring the world with my family. It's amazing to see our kids soak up the history from the places we visit and parlay those learnings into the classroom and conversations with friends.
Latest Accomplishment: After years of her fighting me, I finally taught my daughter how to ride a bike. Closely followed by my run with the bulls in Pamplona - gore-free - this past summer.
Where I'll Be in Ten Years: On a book tour, promoting my wildly successful line of biker-themed cookbooks.
Last Book Read: "The Edge" by Jeffery Deaver. Great airplane reading.
Last Movie Seen: Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. Dubai was featured so I figured I'd check it out to see if it matched reality...it didn't.
Hobby: Riding my Harley in the great places we live and renting one in the great places we visit. The combination of seeing the world on two wheels - while battling third-world driving skills - brings you closer to the people and the culture than you might normally find yourself.
Favorite Quote: The harder I work, the luckier I get.
Why I Do What I Do: Because I get to make a difference in people's lives by bringing jobs, clean water and refreshment to places where such things are scarce. Plus, I am in great business learning lab and get to show my family the world all while having MASSIVE amounts of fun.
If I Could Do It All Over Again: I'd figure out a way to retroactively deploy YouTube back to the days when I could slam dunk in a pick-up basketball game so my kids would finally think I was cool.
Never Paid Much Attention To: If my belt matched my shoes. According to my wife, that's apparently something I should be worried about now.
