You don't need me to remind you how difficult this past week has been for all of us. I have thought often of President Ruscio's message at the candlelight vigil on Tuesday night. He emphasized that this university is a community unlike any other a community in which we have always gathered strength from each other, in good times and bad.
Beverly Tarpley Lorig, director of the University's Career Development Center, will retire from that position on Dec. 4, 2013.
