Class Recognition Awards

Honoring Outstanding Classes

Each year, the Annual Fund awards trophies to recognize class giving. Class rankings as of June 30 determine the winners, with the exception of the trophies for reunion classes (John Newton Thomas Trophy, Colonnade Cup and Trident Trophy) which have a Reunion Weekend deadline. The trophies are displayed in the Alumni House.

  • The Richmond Trophy

The Richmond Trophy is awarded to the non-reunionist undergraduate classes that have the highest percentage of members participating in the Annual Fund. Separate awards recognize Five Star Generals, Young Alumni (those graduating within the past ten years), and all classes falling between those two groups.
