"It is a privilege to serve Washington and Lee and the University's remarkable students, faculty, and staff. W&L felt like home immediately. It is a joy to work every day with caring and fiercely loyal and generous alumni, parents, and friends to ensure that our students, faculty, and programs have the resources they need and deserve at one of America's oldest, best and most distinctive universities. We strive to communicate well and connect our alumni and supporters with the campus and our mission. Our alumni, in turn, want to join parents and friends, and ensure that today's undergraduates and law students have the same educational and transforming experiences alumni had. Alumni appreciate the great teaching they benefited from; the personal attention of faculty; marvelous personal growth opportunities outside the classroom; a beautiful campus and strong sense of place; and a community of trust built on honor and integrity. Our alumni are making differences throughout the world. They feel strongly that Washington and Lee is a meaningful part of their success."
