Born in the Wyoming Valley of northeastern Pennsylvania, Louise moved to Lexington in August 2008 to join the development staff at Washington and Lee. Louise earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from King's College in Wilkes-Barre and a master's from the University of Scranton. After a short career in social services, then 18 combined years in the alumni and development offices of King's College, Louise enjoys meeting with alumni and friends of the University to assist them in discovering the most satisfying way to make their charitable gifts.
"Giving to your alma mater or favorite charity can be a very satisfying and enjoyable accomplishment. It can be even more satisfying and enjoyable when the gift is planned, often producing a gift much larger than anticipated, and possibly taking care of a loved one at the same time."
Louise and her husband Charlie have three grown children, Charles, Daniel, and Abigail, and one (so far) precious grandchild, Charles, VI.
