Washington and Lee's football game with Averett University scheduled to take place at Salem Stadium on Saturday at 1:00 pm will be videocast for free courtesy of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and Penn Atlantic.
Simply visit the following web address and click "Add to Cart" on Saturday to watch the Generals take on the Cougars live.
In order to view the broadcast, you need a cable or DSL high‑speed Internet connection (preferably above 600 kbps download speed). You can test your speed (bandwidth) directly from the Penn Atlantic website. The feed will not work with dial‑up internet. You will also need Windows Media Player 9.0 or 10.0.
For AOL users, you will not be able to access the Penn Atlantic website via the AOL browser (due to firewall). If you use Internet Explorer (installed on every Windows‑based PC) instead, you will have no problems viewing the game.
Macintosh users should view the “FAQ” section of the Penn Atlantic website to learn about how you can view the game. Scroll down near the bottom of that section to the “Can I watch a game on my Macintosh?” question to learn how to view the game.
All of the Generals' remaining home games will also be videocast by the University in conjunction with B2 Networks. For more information on those broadcasts, simply visit the B2 webpage at http://www.b2livetv.com/partner_members.asp?id=157.
