Trail Description

30 minutes from campus. The South Pedlar ATV System provides over 25 miles of developed trails. (Up, down, twisting, stream crossings, berm to hop.) You want to use the Terrapin trail parking lot. If you follow the South Pedlar Trail (outer perimeter) it makes for a great afternoon ride. Take note, the Forestry Service requires you to pay a parking fee. The trails are also heavily used by ATVs on the weekends. As you are right by the James River, finding a swimming hole is no problem.
