Regina Mills '09

Regina Mills is an English and sociology/anthropology major from Warrenton, Va. Active in women's issues on campus and the varsity track and field and cross country teams, she hopes to work for Teach for America before going on to graduate school in English.

Isaiah Goodman '09

Isaiah Goodman is a business administration major from Richfield, Minn. A captain of the varsity men's basketball team and founder of W&L's Captains' Council, he was recently selected to represent the Old Dominion Athletic Conference on the NCAA's Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Shreya Durvasula '09

Shreya Durvasula is a chemistry major from Madras, India and Princeton Junction, N.J. An R.E. Lee Research Scholar and member of W&L's University Scholars program, she worked with two professors last year to develop an interdisciplinary honors class on string theory. She is a trip leader for the University's Volunteer Venture pre-orientation program, a peer tutor and a DJ for WLUR, the campus radio station.

Garrett Clark '09

Garrett Clark is a politics and history major from Charlottesville, Va. He is involved in a number of activities at Washington and Lee, serving as junior justice of the Interfraternity Council, publicity chair of the General Activities Board and the Washington D.C. state chair for the 2008 Democratic Mock Convention. As a leader of the University's Campus Community Coalition, he has helped to improve relations between W&L students and the local community.

Matt Amling '09

Matt Amling is a business administration major from Bethesda, Md., with a strong interest in music and theater. He is president of Southern Comfort, W&L's only all-male a cappella group, and played the lead in last year's musical theater production of "Kiss Me Kate." He plans to pursue a career in marketing or finance with an investment bank or production company.

Grace Andrews '09

Grace Andrews is a sociology/anthopology and politics major with concentrations in poverty studies and women's studies from Dyersburg, Tenn. A member of the Class of 2009, she is on the varsity track team and involved in GeneralService, the Student Association for International Learning, Knowledge Empowering Women Leaders and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

Chris Diebold '09

Chris Diebold is a chemistry and classics major Platte City, Mo. A member of the class of 2009, he is a captain of the varsity men's swimming team, a peer tutor and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He worked as an R.E. Lee Fellow in Chemistry for summers 2006 and 2007.

Alex Duckworth '09

Alex Duckworth is a business administration and East Asian languages and literature major from Roanoke, Va. A member of the Class of 2009, he is the founder and president of Find the Cure, and is involved in Kathekon, the Interfraternity Council and the Campus Community Coalition.

Jacob Geiger '09

Jacob Geiger is a jornalism and European history major from Overland Park, Ks. A member of the class of 2009, he is involved in the Outing Club, the Ring-Tum Phi, WLUR-FM and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Morgan Harris is a politics and sociology/anthropology major from Cumberland Center, Maine. A resident adviser and member of the class of 2009, he is involved in the General Activities Board, the Ring-Tum Phi, Aduro, Sigma Phi Epsilon and two student bands.

Casidhe Horan '09

Casidhe Horan is an economics major with a concentration in poverty studies from Richmond, Va. A member of the Class of 2009, she is a Bonner Leader, a peer counselor, and co-captain of the varsity women's basketball team, among other activities.

Alex Jackson '09

Alex Jackson is a computer science major from Centreville, Va. A member of the Class of 2009, he is captain of the men's track and field and cross country teams, a member of the Student Environmental Action League and has been involved in a number of student research projects during his time at W&L.

Alisha Laventure '09

Alisha Laventure is a journalism and Romance languages major with a concentration in poverty studies from Massapequa, N.Y. A member of the class of 2009, she has studied in six countries and on four continents during her time at W&L. While on campus, she has been a resident assistant and involved in a number of student organizations, including the Caribbean Society, English for Speakers of Other Languages, the Student Association for International Learning and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Lisa Luu '09

Lisa Luu is a biology major from Monterey Park, Calif. A member of the Class of 2009, she is involved in the Pan Asian Association for Cultural Exchange (PAACE), the Student Association for International Learning and the Multicultural Student Association, as well as Women in Technology and Science, the Film Society, the Nabors Service League and the Gay Straight Alliance.

Chris Martin '09

Chris Martin is a politics major with a concentration in poverty studies from Shreveport, La. A member of the Class of 2009, he volunteers for the Rockbridge Area Free Clinic, the Nabors Service League and the Campus Kitchens Project. He is also a dormitory counselor and active in Mock Convention, the W&L Political Review and WLUR.

Eduardo Rodriguez '09

Eduardo Rodriguez is a business administration major with a concentration in poverty studies from Pehuajo, Argentina. A member of the class of 2009, he is the recipient of a 100 Projects for Peace grant to establish a language laboratory in his hometown.

Jack Stanton '09

Jack Stanton is a Middle East studies major from New Orleans, La. A member of the Class of 2009, he serves as senior class representative for the Executive Committee and is involved in Gnosis, the Contact Committee, Students for Life, the Multi-Faith Council, Nabors Service League and Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Anne Van Devender '09

Anne Van Devender is a computer science major with a concentration in women's studies from Jackson, Miss. A member of the Class of 2009, she is co-captain of the women's varsity soccer team and is involved in Women in Technology and Science and Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.

Margaret Ward is a business administration major from Columbia, S.C. A member of the class of 2009, she is active in the Repertory Dance Company, Aduro, Kathekon and the General Activities Board.

Robin Zheng '09

Robin Zheng is a philosophy and physics major from Duluth, Ga. A member of the class of 2009, she has traveled extensively during her time at W&L, studying in Senegal, Thailand and Germany. She is also involved in the Pan-Asian Association for Cultural Exchange, the Student Association for International Learning and the University-Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra.
