Classroom Technology

The University offers classrooms in a variety of sizes and configurations.  Approximately 95% of the general undergraduate classrooms have installed presentation technology.  These technology classrooms are supported by the Academic Technology division within Information Technology Services (ITS).  A Classroom Features Chart detailing each of the University classrooms  is available on the University Registrar's web site.

For classrooms without built-in equipment, portable presentation equipment can usually be provided.  Reserve Portable Equipment

Classroom Technology Podiums

A variety of teaching stations / technology podiums are located in technology equipped rooms. These have been designed to provide as much functional consistency as possible across a wide variety of rooms. Please see our Technology Podiums page for more information on configurations and tips on using these rooms.


There are several ways to get the technical support you need to take full advantage of the technology equipped classrooms. In addition to training and documentation, most rooms are equipped with a "Help"  button which can be used to page a technician for immediate assistance. Please see Classroom Technology Support for additional details.

Reserving a  Classroom

To make room reservations during the academic class hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday, contact the University Registrar's Office at ext. 8455.

To reserve a room outside of academic class hours, a contact person has been designated to handle reservations for individual buildings. These contacts are listed on the Classroom Features Chart.
